IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organization that is dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. What could be a better way to position the brand than having a presence during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas!
The goal of the video was to provide a voice for IEEE and demonstrate its success over the past 130 years in “Fostering Technological Innovation: Yesterday, Today + Tomorrow”. The video featured IEEE’s strength and presence within current publications & standards, membership, communities and conferences, and education & careers. Because of these efforts, IEEE continues to directly impact the future of consumer electronics, robotics, power & energy, healthcare, semiconductors, intelligent transportation, and telecommunications & wireless.
Steph Salerno, Senior Designer at Rizco said, “IEEE is such a massive authority-style organization, so coming up with creative direction for their brand video to be used at CES 2016 was initially daunting. Through Rizco’s research-based process, we found that the best approach was to juxtapose the copy in the video with imagery that showcased IEEE’s diverse member-base.”
What started out as a one-time use video for a tradeshow, turned into a branding video that provides the internal team with an asset that can be updated and nurtured quickly in order to grow the business on an ongoing basis.
