Rizco developed a 40th Anniversary brand, which was carried throughout all communication – from web site and social media pages to advertising, e-mail marketing, and event communications.
In the spring, Rizco planned and executed an intimate networking and educational breakfast event with keynote speaker, Dr. Adam Whelchel, who is highly regarded in the architectural community. The seminar, “Building Sustainable and Resilient Communities through Architectural Design,” was attended by some of Connecticut’s most highly sought after architects and builders. The event tied together design, build, and landscape into one cohesive event. This opportunity opened the door for LaurelRock to tell their 40th anniversary story and reinforce their sustainability efforts.
In the fall, Rizco executed a client appreciation celebration in conjunction with Luxe magazine. A garden party was held on a 16-acre property in Wilton where guests (LaurelRock clients and industry influencers) toured the grounds, sipped champagne, and got a first-hand look at how the LaurelRock team works in sync to manage the “secret” gardens of an award-winning property.
At the end of 2015, LaurelRock had a lot to celebrate. Through public relations efforts and internal team strategies spearheaded by LaurelRock management, lasting partnerships were made with influencers and recognitions were gained.
The company received a Top Workplaces Award from Hearst Media Services and was the recipient of Grand and Merit awards from the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP). LaurelRock concluded the celebration with one last email marketing campaign summarizing the company’s 40th year of business and gifting clients with a beautiful custom engraved wine bottle.
