The Story

Who We Are. What We Do.

Three pieces of admissions collateral were conceptualized and developed to support the admissions process for the classes of 2019 + 2020. The theme “Who We Are, What We Do” was utilized for the basis of the campaign. First, a simplistic handout was developed as a general “introduction” to students in grades 7-9 and counselors. The second piece acts as an interactive brochure that ties in the specialization of the school: art, architecture and engineering to entice juniors and seniors to apply. Last, the view book is for the “serious” applicant and outlines critical information about the education that students receive at The Cooper Union.

Piece 1

A simplistic handout was developed as a general “introduction” to students in grades 7-9 and counselors. The tri-fold brochure featured the three main brand colors blue, yellow, and red to help explain each major for art, architecture, and engineering.

Piece 2

An interactive pop up brochure was developed to drive juniors and seniors to the website to apply to The Cooper Union. The icon within the logo helped to inspire the interactive folding technique that was used within the design that celebrates art, architecture and engineering.

Piece 3

The last piece, the view book, is for the serious applicant. The view book provides the student with critical information about each of the three majors that include art, architecture, and engineering. Each major is described by its own smaller booklet that lives inside the folder and doubles as an additional hand out as needed for each of the majors.
